How MISLAB works

  1. Automated discovery: every hour, our system scans trusted news feeds and live web search across many independent sources.
  2. Trust Score verification: each source carries a 1–10 trust score, and stories are cross-checked across several outlets.
  3. AI drafting: an AI model writes the article, summary and “What This Means For You” section strictly from the cited sources.
  4. Synthetic illustrative photography: photos are generated by AI to illustrate the topic. They never show real people or real events.
  5. Human approval: no article is published until a human editor has reviewed and approved it.

AI TRANSPARENCY & EDITORIAL DISCLOSURE (Pursuant to Article 50 of the EU AI Act & European Media Freedom Act): MISLAB operates an advanced AI-assisted editorial workflow with mandatory human oversight ("human-in-the-loop"). News drafts, executive summaries, translations, and the "What This Means For You" segments are synthesized using generative artificial intelligence systems (including Google Gemini, OpenAI, and xAI Grok) strictly grounded in verified, real-time external media and official institutional sources. Every article undergoes human review and approval by the Editor-in-Chief prior to publication, who assumes editorial responsibility in accordance with Article 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act). SYNTHETIC MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY NOTICE: All visual imagery marked as "AI Illustrative Photo" is synthetically generated by artificial intelligence for illustrative and editorial purposes only. These images do not depict real-world photographic captures of actual individuals or specific events.
