Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Sunday he is speaking with US President Donald Trump’s envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to arrange new rounds of peace meetings as early as this week.

In a Bloomberg News interview, Zelenskyy stated he would use the video call to discuss a possible venue and time, noting the envoys also plan to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Zelenskyy accused Trump of trying to pressure Kyiv into surrendering to Russia and offered to stop targeting Russian refineries in exchange for more Patriot air-defense missiles.

The US resumed sharing critical intelligence with Ukraine after a pause, according to Zelenskyy, while the Trump administration eased restrictions on Russian fuel imports with a deal for over 300,000 metric tonnes of diesel to tackle high prices.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that he is negotiating peace and making great progress but claimed Zelenskyy does not want to end the war.

Zelenskyy posted on social media that he had a conversation with the envoys and that a lot depends on the US position, adding the war must be brought to an end.
